First of all. Thanx for your compliments!
First the orc will be detailed as high as possible and will get the textures and fancy stuff on it.
Then for my upcoming demoreel I might animate it. That will be offcourse a lot of work because of the amount of detail in it. But yeah I might animate it!.

about the chainmail: I made a ring and I bend it in 2 directions. I did it in a way that I could copy
the rings over and over diagonal. then after copying it like a zillion times, I bend the whole thing in a circle 360 degrees. After that I just simply moved the chains closer and closer to the skin until it was like over the whole skin. around the shoulders it would get tricky but after some logic thinking and crativiy I fixed it all!. But there are other ways in maya!. I heared somebody saying that there is a tool that can do all that stuff for ya! (still don't know the tool yet).

Btw congrats on getting a CGS award!. I hope to get one soon too!
